Quinoa Is a gluten free seed that acts like a grain. It is one of the few plant foods that offer complete protein to support the growth and development of your baby. Quinoa is also a good source of blood building iron, a critical nutrient to watch out for babies after the age of 6 months in order to avoid deficiencies. Giving your loved one quinoa can also help them grow stronger bones as they are packed with calcium and magnesium, both of which play a primary role in strengthening the skeletal structure.
Peas and Fennel
Peas and fennel are both rich in iron as well as the B vitamin folate which additionally aids in healthy blood formation. They each provide immune-boosting properties as they are packed with antioxidant vitamins A & C which help the body fight disease and protect against infections.
STOVE – From Frozen
Gently heat in pan for 3-5 mins, or until thawed
Alternatively, Microwave – From Frozen
60 – 90 seconds on full power, stirring between 30 second intervals
